Bulbs: to dig or not

Bulbs always present the question after a season: "Should I dig them up to protect them from the possible freeze?"

Here is a list of great bulbs that can be left in the ground in Zones 8 or above:

All bulbs need some nourishment. Once they peek through for the new season, fertilize with a slow release, milagranite, or for a real immediate boost, a water-soluble fertilizer would be great.

Mulch well for the season. And, enjoy.
