Emily (who we are)

Herbal Insect Repellent

In 1999 an entomologist by the name of Jerry F. Butler at the University of Florida developed an insect repellent derived from lemon grass and other plants. Previously he had tested more than 3,900 other compounds and found his insect repellent called geraniol was most effective against ticks, fire ants, flies, mosquitoes, and biting midges.

Geraniol has been declared safe by the US EPA and can be used directly on the skin.

After application you are "good to go" for four hours.

This product is an alternative to DEET based products.

Geraniol is, of course, patented by the University of Florida and is licensed to Naturale, LTD, which is located in Great Neck, NY.

It is being marketed by Naturale as MosquitoSafe, TickSafe, and RedFireAntSafe.

The product contains 30% geraniol.

Try it, you may like it.
