Ken Druse
Ken Druse is an internationally known horticultural expert, award-winning author and photographer and with the huge success of his previous titles -- The Natural Garden, The Natural Shade Garden, The Natural Habitat Garden, and The Collector's Garden -- he has become America's best-loved gardener. Ken has contributed both articles and photographs to numerous gardening magazines and scores of books.
In the New York Times, writer Anne Raver called Ken, "The Guru of Eco-sensitive gardening." More recently, she wrote... "KEN DRUSE'S books have seduced many a gardener down a new path, into shade gardens or native plants or rare, exotic ones. Now, Mr. Druse, the horticulturist, photographer and writer, has combined his talents in a new book that is not only useful but downright inspiring: ''Making More Plants: The Science, Art and Joy of Propagation.''
MAC GRISWOLD, wrote of Ken's new book in the Wall Street Journal, December 15, 2000... "This is probably the best, the best-looking and the most-accessible book about propagation in print. Mr. Druse took all the photographs; while many are beautiful in the conventional sense, the best are technical shots that also manage to be beautiful, such as a series on graft aftercare that finishes with a shot of the new scion poking its little green nose out of the graft cut."
