Here is a short list of things children can do to make awareness for everyone.

Recycle - newspapers, plastics, glass, metal, yard clippings.

Organize - a beach, park, highway, or waterway clean-up.

Carpool - or use public transportation

Use alternatives to chemical herbicides, pesticides, or "cides" of any kind. Go organic: mulch and compost.
