Ruth Stout

How to be lazy and have a garden too. If this is your style or desire to learn you will love Ruth Stout's "Gardening Without Work". Although printed in 1961, it still can be practiced today.

Ruth was born and raised in Kansas where she probably saw a lot of hard gardening work. But she did her major "no work" gardening in Connecticut. This left her plenty of time to write.

She really practiced what she preached, as they saw in the millennium. So much so that she also wrote: How to Have a Green thumb without an Aching Back", "Company Coming", "It's a Woman's World".

An Icon for "no work" gardeners, she had plenty of ideas for everyone.
